Hi! My name is Margarett Kylle S. Academia. I graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a bachelor's degree in Filipino. My hobbies are listening to music and reading during my free time. When I teach my students, most of whom are kids, I let them listen to me first, then we'll read together, and then I'll let them read on their own. This is the I do, We do, You do method, and this approach is applicable for most of the students who are just learning to speak English as their second language.

My expertise is in pronunciation, children's English, communication, language, and assessment. Teaching kids with little to no knowledge of the language would be difficult if we didn't assess them correctly. Matching the lesson according to their levels would be the first thing we should consider. We don't want the students to be bombarded with too much information if they don't know what we are talking about. I believe they should take little steps and let them grow with little to no guidance to see their improvement.

Studying with them could be a little tiring if the student is bored during the class, so we should have some games that could also be a way for them to learn while having fun. This could be used for teaching English to children. We should also correct how they say things promptly, as students tend to make the same mistakes again. This could be a good way to communicate with them properly if they get better when it comes to their pronunciation. That's all. See you in one of my classes!
